Experience Hendrix, the family company running the estate of Jimi Hendrix has failed in its bid to disprove that Jimi Hendrix stars in a porn video.
Vivid Entertainment released Jimi Hendrix The Sex Tape in May. The Hendrix estate immediately announced it was a fake.Vivid then offered $100,000 to Experience Hendrix if they could prove that it was a fake. Now 60 days later, they haven’t.
Today, Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsh said in a statement, “In early May we made a good faith offer through our attorneys to pay $100,000 to Experience Hendrix if it could offer proof within 60 days that our tape was not authentic. We always knew it was real and were confident that the Hendrix heirs would be unable to substantiate their claims."
Despite the family calling the video a fake, Neville Chester, Hendrix’s road manager from the 60s, says it is real. “"I'm positive that we are viewing the real Jimi Hendrix," he said.
Cynthia (Plaster Caster) Albritton also confirms that it is Jimi in the movie. "No one can pay me any amount of money to say I saw something I didn't see and judging from having casted Jimi I'm convinced that he is indeed the man seen in this film." She authenticated the footage and, once held Hendrix' penis in her hands while she made a plaster cast of it.
The Jimi Hendrix Sex Tape will remain on sale in the United States.
