Alex James declared in The Independent how Blur came close to headlining this years Glastonbury festival ten years after last doing so. They were offered the slot but it didn’t materialize.
James, Blur’s bass player, felt a little sad that it never happened as he wanted to put on the show for his wife and kids, 'but I suppose the important thing was to have been asked' he said, further adding that 'I’m sure it will happen one day'.Watch this space.
