There is no stopping the Coldplay juggernaut. ‘Viva La Vida’ sold another 20,000 units in Australia this week, about five times more than the number tow album by Rihanna.
‘Viva La Vida’ has been the biggest selling album of the year, shifting around 90,000 units in just three weeks.Included in the 90,000 sales are around 10,000 downloads.
Other debuts this week on the Australian chart were My Chemical Romance ‘The Black Parade Is Dead’ at 10, Sigur Ros ‘Meo Sup I Eyrum Vio Spilum Endalaust’ at 14, TZU ‘Computer Love’ at 23, Little Red ‘Listen To Little Red’ at 29, John Mayer ‘Where The Light Is’ at 30, G-Unit ‘TOS’ at 35, Creedence Clearwater Revival ‘Best Of’ at 57, Youth Group ‘The Night Is Ours’ at 66 and Alkaline Trio ‘Agony & irony’ at 95.
