The Osbournes are reported to have signed a deal with Fox television to create a variety show not all that dissimilar to the Sonny and Cher Show in the 70s.
Although no date has been set for the production, the show is expected to debut for the 2008-2009 season.The new Osbournes variety show would include comedy sketches; musical performances and interviews, just like those old Sonny and Cher and Donny and Marie shows.
The format was once lampooned on a Simpson episode, when The Simpsons hosted a variety hour.
The Brady Bunch has also done the format.
Sharon and Ozzy will front the show along with the kids, Jack and Kelly.
