A fire has broken out at a scapyard just a mile away from the Glastonbury festival site.
Festival goers have not yet been evacuated, but a number of locals living in the vicinity have been told to leave thiers homes.Currently large clouds of smoke can be seen looming across the festival's skyline, reports the BBC.
Thousands of music fans now face up to five hour delays reaching the site as firefighters and police have been forced to close the A37 with diversions in place.
Huge numbers of fans have already arrived at Glastonbury for the start of this year's festival - but about 800 tickets still remain unsold. Last year the 137,500 tickets sold out in one hour and 45 minutes.
The major headliners kick off proceedings on Worthy Farm tomorrow night (June 27) with performances from Jay-Z, Kings of Leon and The Verve.
