Jimmy Barnes has become the first Aussie act to use the Alive Drive, a new technology via New Found Frequency.
Merch on the Barnes 'Out of the Blue' tour will include Alive Drive, a USB wristband featuring exclusive audio, video and image content as well as live updates for fans via the web.Melbourne-based New Found Frequency is bringing the Alive Drive to the market.
It differs from the traditional USB device as it is a fully flexible wristband which can be plugged into your computer.
New Found Frequency can turn the product in a key ring or a necklace if required.
Ringo Starr, Matchbox Twenty and George Michael are just a few international names that have used the technology.
The Barnes tour kicked off last night in Mittagong. Tonight he plays Canberra and will head around Australia until the end of August.
In September, Barnes will tour Europe, starting with the Toast Festival in London on September 26.
