Sydney rock band Hell City Glamours will launch their debut album this Saturday (June 28).
The band have been regulars on the touring circuit having picked up gigs with Paul Stanley, Alice Cooper, Sebastian Bach, New York Dolls and Airbourne in recent years.AC/DC, Chuck Berry, Black Crowes and Thin Lizzy influenced the debut self-titled album.
"Even if it had been a painful road to this point, this album would make it all worthwhile anyways," says singer Oscar McBlack. "I don't really need to say anymore than that. Now's the time to let the music speak for itself,"
Hell City Glamours recorded the album at Sing Sing Studios (Melbourne) and Lord Street Studios (Sydney) with producer Matt Voigt.
They will launch the album Friday at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney.
The album will be released on July 5.
