80s hair metal legends Def Leppard are returning to Australia for the first time since 1992 and are bringing with them uber guitar nerds Cheap Trick.
Def Leppard have such classics as 'Rocket', 'Photograph', 'Let's Get Rocked' and of course the unforgettable anthem 'Pour Some Sugar On Me'. (I bet just the mere mention of that song's title will have it stuck in your head for the rest of the day!)If that's not cool enough, Cheap Trick, who attempted to tour Australia last year with Thin Lizzy, but cancelled, will hopefully actually make it this time, adding 'If You Want My Love You Got It', 'Dream Police', 'Surrender' and 'I Want You To Want Me' to the long list of rock 'n' roll classics you'll hear on that night.
Local Melbourne band The Galvatrons are probably still giggling like little schoolgirls with the knowledge that they get to open this show too.
