Already announced for the ultra sold out Splendour in the Grass festival, Tricky will also traverse the east coast of Australia on his first tour since the 1996 Big Day Out.
The man, who cannot be categorised, broke through to the general public with his 1995 album 'Maxinquaye', his first album since leaving the already successful Massive Attack.The lead single off that album was a cover of Public Enemy's 'Black Steel' and featured a then unknown Martina Topley-Bird on vocals.
Since then he has covered everything from trip hop to drum 'n' bass to hip hop to rock.
