Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall), David Ellefson (ex Megadeth), Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex Beyond Fear/Yngwie Malmsteen) and Tristan "1690" Grigsby (Diatribe) have all teamed up to record a song paying tribute to the late Damageplan / Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
The song 'Leave It Alone' will also feature solos by Nick Bowcott (ex Grim Reaper) and fan Brian Cashmore.It is available through iTunes now and all proceeds will go to Little Kids Rock, a charity that believes all kids in public schools deserve a music education. Dimebag had the same philosophy with always sharing his passion and love of music to the world inspiring kids to pick up a guitar.
"It's great to be a part of something that will help so many and that's in keeping with the spirit of who and what Dime lived," Tristan Grigsby said in a statement, "I'm proud to do for someone else in the way I saw him do for so many through the years. May his spirit infect us all and live on beyond forever. Lite em UP!"
