The Living End's free show in Melbourne tomorrow (Saturday, June 7) will now be held at Duckboard Place.
The show was originally going to be held in AC/DC Lane, but overnight, a fire broke out near the laneway in an office rented by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The fire also damaged the popular Melbourne venue Cherry Bar downstairs.
In a statement today, Triple J Marketing Manager Claire Collins said, "On Thursday night, a fire caused some damage to a building in ACDC Lane. The surrounding area, including the space where the gig was going to be held, has been closed off pending police investigation".
"The new site complies with OH&S regulations and has been approved by the local council, so its all systems go for this special event".
