Pete Doherty was a surprise guest drummer for Sting's daughter Coco last night in London.
Coco, a 17-year old jazz singer, was performing at the small London club Jazz After Dark in front of an audience of around a dozen.Doherty joined her on stage at around 2am.
The major labels have been in a battle to sign Coco. It is believed that Island Records won the bidding war.
Coco was born Eliot Pauline Styler Sumner. Her brother Joe is the frontman for UK band Fiction Plan.
