Australia's Missy Higgins has joined the likes of Moby, Panic At The Disco, James Blunt and Estelle to support connect2earth.org, a community for young people to have their say about the environment.
Missy and other artists have contributed videos and statements to the site. Young people are invited to contribute ideas and solutions for the environment as well.A winner will be selected each month by a panel including Sir Richard Attenborough, Achim Steiner and Jessica Lax.
The overall winner will participate at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Barcelona in October.
Other artists involved with the project include Jason Mraz, Paul Van Dyke and Steven Page (from Barenaked Ladies).
