Tom Petty has announced even more guests for the third leg of his US tour. The Dandy Warhols, Beck, Black Crowes and Blind Boys of Alabama have been added to selected dates.
Petty's tour already includes Pearl Jam, Stevie Nicks, The Allman Brothers, John Mayer, Frank Black, The Strokes and Trey Anastasio.As Petty celebrates his 30th anniversary, he has set out to give fans 'once in a lifetime' chances to see unique pairings on stage. In Philadelphia, the Allman Brothers joined him for Dylan's 'Highway 61 Revisited'. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam handled vocals for Petty on 'American Girl' and 'The Waiting' in St Paul, Milwaukee. Foo Fighter Dave Grohl took over 'Runnin' Down A Dream' and 'You Wreck Me' in Randall's Island, New York and Stevie Nicks, who he calls the honorary Heartbreaker has been performing their joint hit 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' on the tour.
