Vampire Weekend Add Aussie Sideshows

Vampire Weekend will expand on their Splendour In The Grass Australian appearance with sideshows for Melbourne and Sydney.

The 2008 SXSW buzz-band will play August 4 at the Metro in Sydney and August 6 at the POW in Melbourne.

Support is Little Red.

Vampire Weekend's debut album was released earlier this year through Remote Control.

Tickets go on sale June 2 or pre-sale tickets can be purchased from frontiertouring.com from midday May 29.
