The Stranglers have just announced a Greatest Hits Tour - on sale Friday 25th April @ 9am.
Thirty years since they last appeared at London Roundhouse, The Stranglers will, once more, be appearing at the legendary London venue as part of a UK tour also calling at Glasgow and Manchester.With 32 top 40 hits spanning over 4 decades and numerous gold and platinum albums, The Stranglers remain true to form. First gigging in 1975, the band's straight talking approach was sometimes interpreted as aggressive and confrontational but, if truth be known, they were more musically gifted than many of their peers.
Nevertheless, their notoriety was embraced by the punk movement of 1977, breaking the debut single Grip, taken from their legendary first album Rattus Norvegicus, and launching the band into public consciousness from thereon in.
