Not to limit our reach or anything, but if you're not a heavy metal drum nerd, you might want to move on to the next story. Drummer extraordinaire Gene Holgan is coming to Australia to blast-beat your face into the next dimension.
Holgan will be doing a series of clinics, followed by a meet and greet and Q&A from fans at Allans stores around Australia in May.Holgan has played with Death, Testament, Opeth and the mighty Strapping Young Lad and wowed many a drummer (and fascinated non-drummers like myself) with his astonishing speed and "blast beat" style.
While he is here he's also going to launch the brand spankin' new Saiban APX cymbal.
