Paris based, Israel born singer Yael Naim will perform at the '60@60 America's Celebration of Israel's 60th Anniversary Extravaganza' later this month in New York.
Yael, best known as the voice of the song 'New Soul', featured in the Apple Macbook Air commercial, is about to launch her album with David Donatien in a series of showcases across the USA.Naim and the West Indian born Donatien were introduced to the US market at SXSW in March. Their sound is described as an atmospheric blend of folk, pop and Middle East sounds.
The Israel show is on Wednesday at Carnegie Hall.
In June, they will perform showcase gigs in Philadelphia, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Montreal.
