Aussie country star Amber Lawrence may have stumbled across a country Spice Girls format in Chic Frontier.
Chic Frontier is a show Amber often does with Kirsty Lee Akers, Dianna Corcoran and Alyce Simmonds.The idea is to showcase new and emerging country acts. "We are kind of the next tier of country music singers in Australia," Amber tells Undercover News. "We've put a show together, we are touring and will be doing a lot of stuff around Australia this year. We do our own stuff then come together and sing together. Audiences love that. When they see four girls on stage they think its heaven".
And the country Spice Girls tag? "That might become our new name," she laughs.
Chic Frontier has some shows coming up in Carrum in Victoria and the Central Coast, Rooty Hill and Shellharbour during May. 4, 08
