OneRepublic's frontman Ryan Tedder has had to pull out of the upcoming shows for the band following surgery on his Achilles tendon.
Tedder injured himself right before the bands Central Michigan University show on the current tour.He suffered a serious tear to his tendon and had immediate surgery.
Tedder is at home recuperating and is expected to be "back on his feet" within weeks.
"I want to apologize to all of our fans holding tickets to the cancelled shows," said Tedder. "We hope to reschedule shows in these areas as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for the get well soon messages too! I'm looking forward to being back on stage as soon as possible."
Meantime, OneRepublic have cancelled all upcoming US show. They should be back in action mid-May for the UK tour.
