Neil Young is completing an aborted Crazy Horse album from 2000 for his next release.
The origins of the 'Toast' album began in the Toast studio in San Francisco. Crazy Horse recorded there for a few months but the only track to surface was 'Goin' Home' on 'Are You Passionate'.For 'Are You Passionate', Young jumped ship from Crazy Horse and worked mainly with Booker T and the MGs. Some of the Toast songs were re-recorded with the MGs.
'Toast' is once again in production with original producer John Hanlon working on the mixes.
The album will be the first in a series of Neil Young archive Special Edition unreleased albums.
