Sweden's The Haunted have completed pre-production on their forthcoming album and are ready to hit the studio to put the tracks down.
The band will record the album in Denmark's PUK studio with producer Tue Madsen. This will be the third album for the metal band.
Jonas Bj??rler (Bass) reports: "Right now we're rehearsing like madmen. This is the final week before we enter the PUK studio in Denmark. Right now we have like 20+ songs, so we have a lot of material to choose from; I think we aim at putting 11 or 12 on the CD. This time around we worked 6 months on the songs, and I think that really paid off - none of the songs sound alike, and the material sounds really heavy and groovy"
The band has posted a video of about the new album online.
