Outkast's Big Boi has joined P. Diddy's Bad Boy to produce Diddy's new prot??g?? Janelle Monae.
Antwan 'Big Boi' Patton will serve as Co-executive producer with Diddy for Monae's debut album 'Metropolis'."What I love about Janelle is that she has a magical ability to bring folks together," stated Big Boi. Janelle has worked with Big Boi in the past. She was on the tracks "Call The Law" and "In Your Dreams" on OutKast's "Idlewild" soundtrack, and was featured in the video for the single, "Morris Brown." Big Boi introduced Mon?íe to Diddy.
An EP will be released in June. The album will follow in September.
