Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas has thrown a plug out to his new act Hodges via his MySpace site.
Thomas is inviting fans down to the Hodges showcases in Los Angeles during April.Hodges is booked into Molly Malones on Fairfax on April 9th, 17th, 22nd and 29th.
The Texan singer/songwriter was discovered by Thomas and signed to his label RTel.
Rob says he first met Hodges when he was out doing his solo shows. "I met him in Santa Barbra and we shared a lot of the same ideas about the kind of artist he wants to be," he says. "Everything I love at the end of the day is a guy and an instrument pouring his heart out and singing his day to you and letting you know his take on the day. Hodges does that. Over the years, he is only going to get better".
Hodges is currently recording his debut album with Rick Parasher (Pearl Jam, 3 Doors Down).
The album, to be released sometime this year, will be called 'My Side of the Story'.
