Matchbox Twenty fans can expect a new album this year. The band regrouped at Rob Thomas’ house this week and is writing for the next album.
“Getting shit together for the matchbox guys to come to start our week of writing at my house and covered in snow once again,” Thomas tweeted a few hours ago.
“Working with the matchbox guys. Having a little dinner now,” he also said.
The last new music we heard from Matchbox Twenty on the bonus disc of the 2007 compilation album ‘Exile On Mainstream’.
Prior to that, Matchbox Twenty released ‘Yourself Or Someone Like You’ in 1996, ‘Mad Season’ in 2000 and ‘More Than You Think You Are’ in 2002.
