A boy band supergroup (so to speak) is being formed with the help of MTV, but there is a twist. The members of this group have already been forgotten superstars of the past once. They're going to reality TV as a last ditched effort to be the next forgotten star.
The unnamed group will feature Brian McIntosh from S Club 7, Danny Wood from New Kids On The Block, Danny Constable from 911, Lee Evans from Steps and Dane Bowers from Another Level. The boys will attempt to relaunch their careers with the TV show 'Totally Boyband', which will launch in the U.K. in September.
The only problem is, Lee Evans has already been axed from the group, with the rest of the band complaining that he wasn't bringing enough to the table.
The show begins on September 17 in the UK and Evans' exit will be seen on the fourth episode, (sorry to blow it).
Their first single is due out in a couple of weeks. No doubt it is going to revolutionize pop music.
According to www.skybet.com, an online gaming site, odds are it's going to debut between 17 and 20 on the singles charts, where they're offering 9/4 odds. They're offering 10/1 odds if it debuts from 1 to 8, 4/1 odds if it's 9 - 12 or lower than 20 and 2/1 odds for 13 - 16.
