Bette Midler will release a Christmas album this year.
Her first holiday record 'Cool Yule' will come out on October 10.Bette has recorded a version of 'Winter Wonderland/Let It Snow' with crooner Johnny Mathis' as well as the Christmas classic 'White Christmas' and 'Have Yourself A Very Merry Christmas'.
The title track 'Cool Yule' was written by Steve Allen and first performed by Louis Armstrong.
The album was produced by Robbie Buchanan. Buchanan is a veteran of Midler recordings, having worked on 'Beaches', ''For The Boys', 'Some People's Lives', 'Bette of Roses' and the 'Rosemary Clooney Songbook'.
