Australian hardcore band Behind Crimson Eyes have signed a deal with metal giants Roadrunner Records.
In a message on their website they said "We are all so stoked to release the news about our new signing with roadrunner, it is a great move for the band for they understand what we are trying to do with our music."As an independent band, they have managed to find themselves in the top 20 in Australia and scored a main stage slot on last year's mighty Taste of Chaos tour.
Front man Josh Stuart said in a press release, "We don't have to compromise our values for them to market our music. They are of the school of thought that the band makes the music and the label does the marketing. So they basically told us to make whatever record we want. And this is what we've done."
The band is currently finishing up their first album for Roadrunner at Sing Sing (Powderfinger, The Living End) in Melbourne and it will be out later this year.
