Good Charlotte have signed to Capitol Records, who will release the band’s fifth album in October.
The album will be called 'Cardiology' and will hit stores on October 22 and will be the first to feature new drummer Dean Butterworth.The first single will be 'Like It's Her Birthday'.
The band formed in 1996 and have gone on to be one of the biggest pop rock bands in the world, selling over 10 million albums, with 500,000 of them being sold in Australia alone.
In recent years the band has toured with everyone from Justin Timberlake to Third Eye Blind and this month they're on the road with P!nk in Europe.
Useless informatioon: I have a soft spot for this band because the Madden twins share a birthday with Douglas Adams, Bobby McFerrin and yours truly, so put October 22 in your diaries as Cardiology day.
