The late Dan Fogelberg gave his wife Jean a special Valentine's present in 2005 and she is now sharing it with the world.
In February 2005, the Fogelberg's were separated for Valentine's Day because Dan was working in Colorado and Jean was at home in Maine.On February 14th, 2005, Jean received a dozen long stemmed roses and a CD from Dan containing a song he wrote just for her titled 'Sometimes A Song'.
Dan was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2004 and passed away in December, 2007.
Jean has decided to share the song with his fans and raise some money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
The song will be available from iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and Walmart from today.
All proceeds will go to the Foundation, in memory of Dan.
