The band still tours in the USA without any original members and performs mostly a set of songs written by Goble and co-founders Glenn Shorrock and Beeb Birtles. The lyrics features lines such as "Someone's taken our history, and someone's taken our songs for free, we wrote the words and the melody, now someone else sings are harmony, Every night when the lights are low, In the darkness, they'll play our show, Just as if they were really us, then they get back on the bus".
The content is about the decade long battle for the rights for Birtles, Shorrock and Goble to use the Little River Band name, a battle that has been a bittersweet victory for the trio with severe restrictions on the use of the name.
