Indie stars Hungry Kids Of Hungary prepare new songs for album number two before a national tour.
The Brisbane band released their debut Escapades last year to almost universal acclaim and a number 23 ARIA album chart debut.
They’re about to set off on another national tour but before that, the band told triple j that they’re working on demos for their next album.
Kane Mazlin and Dean McGrath said they have eleven tracks “in the demo pot” and are working on them before bringing them into the studio, saying “It's our favourite part of the whole deal. You get sick of songs really quickly so we're busting to do something new."
They said that the new songs have been influenced by both their international travels last year as well as recent jaunts.
Their forthcoming tour is dubbed The Final Escapade, with support from The Chemist and Andy Bull, and will travel all around the country from April 27 to May 28.
