It's official. This week is Iron Maiden week in my private life, my professional life and my poor indie-rock listening housemate's life. The 'Somewhere Back In Time' tour has begun and it kicked off in India late last week.
Maiden's Mumbai show was true to the rumours and only features songs off the band's early albums (with the exception of 'Fear Of The Dark', the band's only post-80s "classic"), which essentially ensures a set guaranteed to leave fans ecstatic.Most importantly, the show features a full sized Eddie (their zombie mascot) and a massive three-guitar onslaught from the amazing Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers.
