Snoop Dogg has voiced his support for Barack Obama in the current race to become President of America.
The rap star praised the Democratic candidate as he seeks to be appointed the first ever black head of state in the USA.However, speaking on "Larry King Live", he also backed Hillary Clinton, refusing to reveal which of the two he will vote for.
On the show, Snoop said he believed Obama had made "a great step for black America" but admitted "they both have strong situations to support them".
He explained: "I'm not down with the Republican Party or the Democratic Party; I represent the gangsta party."
"Either one is a great move for America because we need change", said the hip hop icon.
Snoop releases his ninth studio album, "Ego Trippin", on March 17.
