Iconic music chain Tower Records has filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday for the 2nd time in just two years.
The troubled chain, which has 89 stores in 20 states across America, was rumoured to have been cut off by major suppliers after they failed to pay their bills. The company is looking for someone to buy it, and one man rumoured to be interested is Tower Records founder, Russ Solomon.
Stores outside the USA at the moment remain unaffected, although with the current climate, if you're a record store in a physical building, you should be quivering about the prospect of online shopping, Tower Records or no.
