Eels will head out on tour in March and have some unusual venues lined up.
The band will play at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia as well as the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Washington DC.Lead singer Mark Everett (E to his friends) was recently the subject of a documentary by the BBC. His father is an author and wrote the best-seller 'Things The Grandchildren Should Know'.
At a recent show in the UK, The Who's Pete Townshend joined Eels on stage and read from E's dad's book.
Eels have just released a greatest hits album and DVD.
