On the eve of their Australian tour, Grinderman offer special access to budding snappers.
Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos are offering the opportunity of a lifetime to aspiring rock photographers and Grinderman fans.
They’re running a contest where photographers can win the opportunity to get super-close access to the band during each show of their Big Day Out sideshows.
All you have to do is prove your worth behind the lens. Just send a link to an online portfolio of some of your work to grindermanphotocontest@gmail.com (we can presume they don’t want you to attach a million massive jpegs).
Don’t forget to include which show you’d like to shoot in the subject line (such as “28/1/2011, Enmore Theatre Sydney”) and your full name and mobile phone number in the body.
Entries end 48 hours before each show, and any other questions about the contest can be sent to the above email address.
Just a reminder of the shows: The Palace in Melbourne on January 17 and 18, Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane on January 24 and the Enmore in Sydney on January 28.
