A video showing Heath Ledger at a drug-fuelled party in Hollywood has raised questions about the gap between the body being discovered and authorities being called.
The video shows Ledger boasting about using five marijuana joints a day for 20 years.Cocaine is visible in the video but Ledger is not using.
He is heard saying that "I'm gonna get so much shit from my girlfriend".
The video raises the question that if Heath was such a heavy user, then why were there no illegal drugs found in his apartment at the time of his death?
The two people who could maybe answer that question are the housekeeper and Health's friend Mary-Kate Olsen, who owned the apartment.
The housekeeper is on record as having phoned Mary-Kate three times before calling police and a further time after the call was made.
This is now leading to allegations that drugs may have been disposed of before Police were called.
Ledger's drug use is said to be the reason for the break-up with girlfriend Michelle Williams. The pair have a daughter, Matilda.
Michelle has also been reported this week to have insisted that Heath was drug-tested before he looked after Michelle.
US Weekly reports that in 2006, Michelle took Heath to the Promises Treatment Centre in Malibu, a rehab center for drug abusers.
Ledger's publicist Mara Buxbaum insists the allegations are all lies.
The coroner's report should fill in the gaps.
The initial autopsy proved 'inconclusive' but the further tests will confirm if Heath was using drugs at the time of his death.
The report is expected as early as the end of this week.
