Bjork is a late scratching for Sydney's Big Day Out tomorrow (Friday January 25th).
The Icelandic singer has pulled out of the festival at the 11th hour after doctors ordered her to rest her vocal chords.Bjork was treated for swelled vocal chords after her performance at the Sydney Opera House last night (Wednesday).
"No replacement show is possible," said organizers Lees and West.
Bjork was headlining BDO right before Rage Against The Machine.
Other acts on the main stage have been given a longer set to fill the gap.
Arcade Fire will now perform from 8pm-9.10pm
Silverchair will play 7pm-8pm.
The main stage will start at 11.30am with Die Die Die, followed by Operator Please, Something With Numbers, Faker, Anti-Flag, Regurgitator, Midnight Juggernauts, Grinspoon, Hilltop Hoods and then Silverchair, Arcade Fire and Rage Against The Machine.
Melbourne's Big Day Out is on Monday.
Lees and West hope Bjork will be able to rejoin the tour for the Melbourne show.
