The San Diego county medical examiner has concluded that Ike Turner's sudden death late last year was caused by a cocaine overdose.
Paul Parker, chief investigator at the medical examiner's office said in a statement, "The cause of death for Mr. Turner is cocaine toxicity with other significant additions contributing."Those "other significant additions" are said to include a long history of cardiovascular disease and emphysema.
Turner was 76 when he died.
