Amelle Berrabah of Sugababes fame was arrested in Hampshire last week, for allegedly attacking a car.
The 23 year old popstar was charged with causing criminal damage and a public order offence.She will appear in court in February.
Sugababes formed in 1998 and have had 6 No. 1 hits in the UK.
Amelle joined the group in December 2005 after their 4th album 'Taller In More Ways' had already been recorded but Sugababes re-recorded the subsequent singles starting with 'Red Dress' with Amelle as they were released through-out 2006.
Her first complete album with the group was 'Change' in 2006. 'Change' was the group's second UK number one album.
'Taller In More Ways' went on to sell more than one million units in Europe.
