U2's Bono has designed a signature series T-Shirt to help raise money for cotton farmers and garment workers in Africa.
The T's are made out of 100% African cotton and produced by edun LIVE, a company founded by the U2 singer and his wife Ali.According to U2.com, 'Proceeds from sales will benefit Wildlife Conservation Society's Conservation Cotton Initiative, which helps lift African farmers out of poverty by providing education on proper land management, organic cotton growing techniques and wildlife conservation.'
Meanwhile, U2's new movie U23D will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah later this month.
The film was made during the South American leg of the 2006 tour.
Fans get to watch the band via the 3D effect produced by wearing special glasses at the movie.
U23D was directed by Catherine Owens and Mark Pellington.
