Pop star Britney Spear is under medical care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood following another breakdown in Thursday evening.
The celebrity remains under 24 hour surveillance and is being evaluated for her mental state after being taken to the facility for going into a hysterical fit at her home in front of her children.Reports says the 25 year old flew into a rage when her the assistant of her ex-husband Kevin Federline came to the house to pick up the two children, Sean Preston (2) and Jayden James (1).
Kevin has had custody of the children since October, after Britney's last major breakdown.
The trouble started at 7pm when KFed's assistant arrived to take home the children. At 8.30pm, Police arrived after being called over a custodial dispute. Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan arrived minutes later.
By 10pm, news had leaked to the press and helicopters started to circle the Spears mansion.
Paramedics arrived at the house at 11.05pm and an ambulance arrived at 11.25pm. At 11.50pm, Spears was taken via ambulance to the hospital.
Spears will be under 24-hour watch for 72 hours to determine if she is a danger to herself.
