Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's 'CSNY/D??jà Vu' will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah later this month.
The film was directed by Neil Young's Hollywood ego Bernard Shakey and produced by L.A. Johnson.'CSNY/D??jà Vu' was filmed on the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tour of 2006 and centered around Young's then current album 'Living With War'.
'Living With War' was a venomous attack on US President George W. Bush, who led the United States of America into the unwinnable Iraq war with its cute Madison Avenue branding of "The War On Terror".
Young wrote and recorded his statement to Bush in days. It was one of his most powerful and brutally honest albums ever.
On the Freedom of Speech tour, almost the entire album was performed live with David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash.
'CSNY/D??jà Vu' looks back to the Vietnam war era and compares the mistakes of America then with the even bigger mistakes of today under Bush, the most unpopular President in US history.
The film is part performance, part commentary and a statement about the perils of ignoring the lessons of history.
David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young will be at Sundance for the premiere, as will the media shy Bernard Shakey. It is still not clear if Mr. Shakey and Mr Young will be in the same room at the same time. They have never been photographed together.
Screening for the film will take place:

January 26th, 9.15am at Eccles Theatre, Park City
January 27th, 12.30pm at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, SLC
