Wyclef Jean has gone to all corners of the music world to bring in new sounds for his forthcoming 'Carnival Vol. II' album. The new record features guest appearances from Paul Simon, Serj Tankian and Norah Jones.
System of a Down's Tankian features on the track 'Riot', Paul Simon is heard on 'Fast Car' and Norah is featured on 'Any Other Day'.Wyclef is also back with Shakira for 'King & Queen'. Their last recording together was the Grammy nominated 'Hips Don't Lie'. The song broke a record for the most amount of airplay in the history of Billboard's airplay tracking chart.
Queen of Soul Mary J. Blige is also on the album performing 'What About The Baby' with Wyclef.
'Carnival Vol II' is Wyclef's first studio album since 'Masquerade' in 2002.
On January 14, Wyclef will head out for the 'Carnival House Tour'. Special guest on the tour will be Lyfe Jennings.
The tour kicks off in Providence, Rhode Island.
