Pop star Brandy Norwood will not be charged over the 2006 car accident that took the life of a motorist.
The singer was traveling on a California Freeway in December 2006 when she slammed into a Honda that had slowed because of traffic.The 38 year old driver of the car, Awatef Aboudihaj died in the crash.
On Friday, a Los Angeles jury found that there was insufficient evidence to charge the singer with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
Lawsuits are still pending from Aboudihaj's family and another driver whose car was slammed by the out of control Honda in the crash.
Brandy recorded 5 albums during her career but did not release any new material in 2007.
