Greendale, Neil Young's 2003 rock opera about three generations of the Green family from a rural area of middle America, will debut as a stage show in Dallas in March.
The show will feature a band performing songs from the album and ensemble cast.The stage show has been adapted for the theatre by members of the Undermine theatre company.
Topics within the storyline follow corruption and mass media consolidation.
Young described his original work as 'a musical novel'.
The Undermine Theatre's production of Greendale will be the world premiere.
