The Kills are one of the first bands to be announced the SxSW 2008.
The band will perform at the Austin music festival and conference as part of the Domino Records showcase.Domino Records has had a long history of attending SxSW. Their previous bands that have traveled to Austin to showcase include Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and Collective Soul.
As well as The Kills, Domino Records will showcase White Williams, Lightspeed Champion, Sons & Daughters and These New Puritans during a one-night showcase.
Those slow to book for SxSW should be warned that 20 of the hotels in Austin have now been booked out. The closest hotel is 4 miles from the conference centre.
