Scrappy duo The Kills have announced a release date for their fourth album.
It will be called Blood Pressures and will hit the streets around the world on April 4, except for the US who’ll get it a day later.
The duo of US singer Alison Mosshart and Brit guitarist Jamie Hince kicked off Blood Pressures in Michigan with producer Bill Skibbe and finished it off in London.
They note that Mosshart went through 52 cassette tapes recording her vocals on a 4-track and Hince bought three guitars and a mellotron to complete the album.
Blood Pressures features eleven tracks and will be out through Domino Records.
They also hint that there will be a tour to follow shortly.
