Morrissey has inked a deal with Polydor/Decca in the U.K., according to his manager, Merck Mercuriadis.
According to Billboard, fans can expect a new best of, previously unreleased material and a new album from the star in 2008.Morrissey signing to Decca sees him join the ranks of many of the British Invasion bands of the 60s, including The Rolling Stones.
The deal is only relevant to the U.K. As of now, there is no word of any worldwide deals being signed.
